Narvik
Narvik er tredje største by og kommune i Nordland – og Nord-Norges sjette største by og kommune – etter folketall. Tidligere var Narvik kjøpstad. Per 1. januar 2014 er antall innbyggere i byen 14 202, og i kommunen 18 380.[2][3] Bykommunen ligger i Ofoten, og grenser i vest til Ballangen, i nordvest til Evenes og i nord til Skånland, Gratangen, Lavangen og Bardu. I øst og sør ligger Sverige.
